Six people were injured as two explosions ripped through garbage cans in the southern-Mediterranean resort town of Antalya on Tuesday, officials said. The cause of the explosion was not yet known, however, Turkey's tourism minister blamed the explosions on gas leaks. Police have not confirmed the cause of the blast as of yet. The explosions happened within minutes of each other, three city cleaners were hurt as they emptied the first garbage can. While the second explosion injured three people, including a French tourist.

"The explosions were caused by a gas leak. There was no loss of life." Tourism Minister Atilla Koc told the Anatolian news agency. However, a police official said, "The cause of the bomb was not yet known."
