A source from the government has stated that one Iraqi civilian was killed and two were injured after a vehicle exploded moments after a US convoy
passed.
It is reported that 65 people were killed in the two-day period after the new government was established, on April 28. Insurgents have since
been organising attacks in Baghdad and all over the country - as a result of which 65 people were killed and tens of people were left injured.
Experts claim that the continuation of attacks even after the government was formed, marks the failure Washington and Baghdad's hopes to
the contrary.
