Turkey conveyed its letter affirming the text of the additional protocol to the Customs Union to Brussels, sources said on Tuesday. Diplomatic sources noted that Turkey's Permanent Representative to the European Union (EU) Oguz Demiralp handed over the letter to EU representatives last night (Monday night).

The text was sent to Ankara last weekend. After Ankara examined the text and sent its letter to Brussels and the process regarding the protocol has started.
