Turkey is set to buy ten A400M military transportation airplanes, 180 planes will be produced in total and it is being hyped as the airplane of the future in terms of its flight range and carrying capacity. The draft law comprising Turkey's responsibility of 1.5 billion Euros in return for 10 airplanes was approved yesterday at the Foreign Affairs Commission of Parliament.

Turkey's share in the production of the military cargo plane, which has high motion speed and a cargo carriage capacity two times more than presently produced cargo planes, will be 5.5 percent.
