Denktas appears in one episode of TV series "Kurtlar Vadisi", Denktas' role is the key to finding the solution of the plot. In this episode Denktas explaining the struggle by Turkish Cypriots leading up to the 1974 Peace Operations.
"In fact, I did not play a role, it was real what I was saying. Although it was acting it was real material. I did not have troubles with the acting because I am used to the camera", said Denktas while filming the scenes in the cemetery at Lefkosa and Girne that show Turkish soldiers as martyrs in 1974.
Denktas played a role that he was familiar with, the role of "Turkish Cypriot President." The episode will be shown on TV on March 3.
