The consumer trust index in Turkey increased by 2.40 % in December over the past month, to 105.2. The increase in the trust index was attributed to the optimistic evaluation of consumers that their purchasing power and the overall economic situation in Turkey and the chances to find good jobs, have increased in Turkey.

At the survey of the Central Bank and State Statistics Institute, participated by 7 thousand 405 people, the trust index increased to 105.2 in December. The index for the suitability of the durable consumption goods increased from 131.8 to 137.9.
