Turkish Businessmen Kidnappeed in Iraq
Turkish businessman Abdulkadir Tanrikulu was kidnapped in Baghdad this morning. 6 Iraqi were killed in the raid at 06.30. There was a gun-raid to the midi bus carrying Tanrikulu who stayed in the Bakhan hotel by about 10 aggressors. Six people in the car were killed and Tanrikulu was kidnapped. |

Gift For Emine Erdogan Worth 30 Thousand Dollars
While PM Erdogan was touring the mall which he inaugurated in Moscow, Muammer Alkim, the owner of Storks Jewellery presented a necklace made of coral and diamonds to Emine Erdogan. Alkim also presented a broche to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow. But the Deputy Mayor gave the gift to Emine Erdogan because his wife was not with him. The value of the two pieces is reportedly 30 thousand dollars. |

Steps Against PKK
Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan told Hurriyeet while in Moscow that the U.S. intervention to PKK militants in Northern Iraq, was a matter of time. Erdogan said that Turkey felt disturbance over northern Iraq and especially PKK but "Serious steps may be taken after the elections in Iraq." |
