Retired General Tuncer Kilinc, the former secretary General of the National Security Board had reportedly received 150 thousand dollars as a "Debt" from contractor Ali Osman Ozmen, who is standing trial for embezzlement in an army tender. Kilinc explained the story of the luxury 244-square meter home which is worth 230 thousand dollars. |

Jet Hearing For Demirel
The first case about Demirel who is being listened on the grounds of holding a gun to the head of TMSF (Saving Insurance Deposit Fund) officer and keeping him for 45 minutes, was held yesterday. The court decided to record Demirel's Testimony when he enters Turkey.
The indictment about Demirel for threatening freedom was prepared on 27 December 2004 and sent to Istanbul 14th Principal Fine Court. |

After the discount of Tupraş (Turkey Petroleum Refineries) on gas and fuel-oil, wholesale prices the fuel distributor companies increased the prices between 0,9% and 1,6%. A decrease of 2-4 YKr happened in the fuel pump prices. Tupraş had said that the decrease is by 4.6-4.7% in gas, and by 9% in fuel-oil. |

Minister of Justice Cemil Çiçek spoke to the people that fled abroad because of their debts. He said, "They peel men like bananas in foreign countries. Instead of being peeled there come and pay your debts for this country." After a question about the extradition period for Yahya Murat Demirel, Haluk Kırcı and Uzans, he said that every information about these were being investigated and they used every international means for the extradition or deportation of these people. |
