Bribe in Return of Expelling Sarigul

Mutual accusations are under way in CHP. High Discipline Board member Cafer Dursun who was accused by Chairman Baykal of receiving bribe for not expelling Sisli Mayor Mustafa Sarigul from the Party, said that "My being elected as a deputy was guaranteed if I did so."

Cafer dursun claimed that the Board's President Ismet Canakci offered him a parliamentary seat in return of expelling Sarigul from the party .

At a press conference with deputies Hasan Aydin and Turan Tuysuz at Parliament, Dursun said that he was a CHP member for 40 years like Baykal and therefore was saddened of the developments.

Dursun said he had recorded his conversation with the President of the Board and will display it whenever necessary.
