According to the International Labor Organization, the number of immigrant workers and families in the world reached up to 120 million. The number is expected to double in the next 25 years.

A survey carried out by the Istanbul Trade Chamber showed that each year about 3300 thousand illegal immigrants are coming to Turkey. Half of these are working at homes , and are also working in constructions, prostitution, textile and food sectors. The number off illegal immigrants coming from 1163 countries, is expected to reach up to a million.
