Putin Praises Ataturk

Russian Head of State Vladimir Putin wrote to the book of honor at Ataturk's mausoleum that "Russia attaches great importance on the memory of Ataturk, the great son of the Turkish nation. Our duty is to deserve his memory and to continue the things he had done."

Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan inaugurated the museum established in the Sirp Pirgic Armenian hospital. He said that “By virtue of this Museum, none of the yes will look at the history cock-eyed. BY listening to the voice coming from my inside I am saying that; Long Live our togetherness!” 
Turkey to Call on Putin to Remove Russian Veto on Cyprus
Russian leader Vladimir Putin arrived in Ankara Sunday evening, with his wife. In the dinner hosted to him by President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, he said that “We came to Turkey to take bold decisions.” 
Ciragan on Sale
The Anatolia Agency reported that the government is preparing to sell the Ciragan palace, which is operated by German Kempinski and the Yacht of Ataturk, Savarona. The sale will be carried on on the basis of the current rates. 
Gold Coin for Patriarch by U.S.

Fener Greek Patriarch Bartholomeos was invited to the Ankara Embassy of U.S. last week, with an “ecumenical” title and this had caused a political crisis between Turkey and U.S. However it is understood that the U.S. House of Representatives had titled the patriarch as ecumenical in 1977 and printed a gold medal for this.

German Susanne Mitchell asked from the AKP government to open into prayers, an empty church in Canakkale , where she is living for 6 years. 
First Foreign Visit to Martyrs
European Parliament’s President Josep Borrell said that the visit he paid to Diyarbakir at a critical time in the Turkish-European Union relations, was politically important. Borell paid visits to the Metropolitan Municipality, Diyarbakir Bar of Lawyers, the Torture Rehabilitation Center and the Association of the Families of Martyrs.
