16 oil paintings ıf 14 famous painters came to Istanbul for display. The works of art that will be featerd at the Portakal Art and Culture Center between 9 and 12 December, have been insured at 15 million Euro. 
Black List of Banks

The Black List of bank included about 110 thousand people. The majority of those in the list are the ones who owe money over their credit cards. The number of the ones in the list reached up to 468 thousand at the end of October. 
8 Conditions from Turkey to EU
Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul handed an official letter to EU Term President, Dutch Foreign Minister, Bernard Bot announcing the conditions of Turkey about the 17 December Summit. Turkey’s conditions include:

Zeynep Sagiroglu, who was kidnapped and held for 19 days, had said that she loved Osman Sandik and will marry him, was found by Hurriyet. Sandik said that he was beaten when he resisted the ones who kidnapped Zeynep, said that “I love her too. But first we have to finish our schools. I could not have any sleep during the nineteen days. French Socialists Relaxed Chirac

The referendum of the French Socialist Party on the EU referendum produced a 59 % Yes. The referendum concerned Turkey’s membership indirectly. The Socialists in opposition in France held a referendum among their 120 thousand members on the EU referendum to be voted in June 2005, which produces a Yes answer. 
Per Capita Income to be 8500 Euro by 2014

Deputy Prime Minister Abdullatif Sener said that they planned the income per capita in Turkey to be between 8000-8500 Euro in 2014 and 12000-14500 Euro in 2020. In a press conference, after the State Planning Organization (DPT) report entitled “The Possible Effects of Turkey’s Membership on EU”, Sener said that the national income of Turkey in 2004 had become 241 billion dollars and they planned to increase it to 8000-8500 Euro in 2014. 
Lesser Students of Preachers’ Schools
The number of students attending the Preachers’ School fell. Records of the last two years showed that 37 thousand 373 students had enrolled to the IHLs in 2003-2004 and this number fell by 12.9 % to 32 thousand 544, especially after these schools were turned into 8-year primary education schools. 
Armenian Demand from EU
Armenian President Robert Kocarian called on the European Union to take up the issue of the border of Turkey which is closed to his country, in the December 17 summit. Armenian Foreign Minister Oskanian said that “Our President pleaded to the EU to take up this issue in the summit.” 
Objective is Full Membership
French President Jacques Chirac and German Prime Minister Gerhard Schöder announced that they adopted the report of the European Commission about Turkey. The negotiations will be open ended but their sole objective will be full membership.
