Cem Uzan Detained, Released on Bail

Young Party leader Cem Uzan was detained together with his guards and friends in Pamukova, Sakarya. The group was then released on a bail of 445 mililon TL each. 
Huge Blow to Counterfeit
With a total of 800 operations carried out, the Security Office Units eliminated most of the counterfeit publications in Ankara. In the operations carried out over 2.2 million materials were confiscated and legal action was taken against 478 people. 
Turkey's EU Process Depends on Cyprus
Greek P.M. Kostas Karamanlis said that besides other issues, Turkey's EU process depended on the stancv it will will take towards the "Cyprus Republic." 
May His Legacy be Peace
Legendary Palestinian leader Yassar Arafat whose life was dedicated to the Palestinian people, died in Paris. There will be a military funeral for Arafat in the international airport in Cairo. He will be flown to Ramallah Saturday to be buried in his headquarters in Mukata.

The practice has started for the transfer of natural gas contracts to the private sector. The leading companies in Turkey and the world are in a queue for the contracts.
