Turks in Netherlands, Uneasy

In Netherlands where the mosques, churches and the schools of both communities were raided following the killing of Director Van Gogh, Turks living here are feeling uneasy.-

They say that “We do not feel at ease even at our homes. We can not send our children to school alone. We are feeling disturbed that all foreigners are approached with suspicion. “

Meanwhile Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu who represented Turkey in a meeting in Groningen, offered his condolences to the Dutch government for the killing of Van Gogh, saying that “We condemn this incident, as a country which suffered from terrorism.”
