The High Board of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK) started an investigation into two prosecutors who are accused of attempting to take out a decision according to the wishes of Mafia leader Sedat Peker, who was detained with the Butterfly Operation.

Prosecutor of Bakirkoy, Omer Guner Sazak  allegedly spent  efforts to produce a decision in favour of Peker in return of his PVC windows being fixed, his holiday and credit card expenses being paid and to take out an assignment decision for a doctor relative of his.  The tapes containing 14 separate phone conversations between Sazak and Peker and his men have been sent to HSYK for investigation.
