Palestine's mythological leader Yasser Arafat deceased early this morning in a hospital in France. Arafat, the symbol of the Palestinian independence war, was 75 year's old. Palestinian Minister Saib Erakat officially announced the demise of Arafat, from Ramallah. French President Jacques Chirac confirmed the news in a written statement.

Two Alternative Definitions of Secularism

Kohl: Turkey has no Chance to Enter EU

Speaking at the 15TH anniversary of the removal of the Berlin Wall, former PM of Germany Helmut Kohl said to the Bavarian TV that Turkey had no chance of entering E.U. Kohl said that he did not believe Turkey would be a member of E.U. in a predicable future and that E.U Leaders were deceiving Turkey with E.U. membership promises. 
9 Illegal Refugees Killed When their Boat Sunk
Nine illegal refugees were killed and 7 disappeared when their boat sunk in the open seas of Izmir, in the Aegean. Seven people who disappeared from the boat that had 20 passengers, are being searched.

According to a news in Financial Times, 3 biggest steel producers in the world, Mittal Steel, Arcelor and US Steel are interested in buying Erdemir Iron-Steel factories. 
Nuclear Plants by 2012
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler said that Turkey will place into operation nuclear power plants with a total installed capacity of 4 thousand 500 MW as from 2012. 
Uzan's houses Sold in U.S.
The 7 houses of Uzan Family was sold for 11.6 million dollars in New York. The money obtained from the auction, which lasted 45 minutes, will be given to Motorola Company whom the Uzan Family owes 2.1 billion dollars.
