Competition Board President Mustafa Parlak announced that they had advised the Privatization Board OIB to sell State monopolies-TEKEL, by separating its cigarette section, to sell Turk Telekom , without Turcellc ompeting in the tender.

In its recommendation to OIB, the Competition Board said that if these advice are not kept, it will not allow the transfering over of both TEKEL and Telekom.
