Bury, who was in Ankara, told the good news with the following words: “In December, the world will see the integration of Turkey, which has modern Islam, with Europe.”
At a long meeting with Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul, Bury said that they were appreciating the reforms of Turkey, and that he did not believe that a problem would occur in respect of the negotiation sate. He also stated that after the negotiation date, he was expecting great explosions in Turkey in the sense of economy as well and that he did not have any suspicion about the investments to come.
