Samsun and Ankara ferries and TDI Black Sea Ship, which belong to the Turkish Navigation Enterprises, are offered for privatization for the second time this year. At the moment, TDI Black Sea Ship and Samsun and Ankara ferries continue their Mediterranean and Aegean Sea tours. Although they are much more luxurious than the ships of the private sector, they do not attract interest due to the fewness of investors in this field.
According to the announcement published in the Official Gazette, the Privatization Administration Presidency prepared one more new sales program.
The sales method is determined as "bargaining method through taking bids within closed envelopes and then holding negotiations." The bidders will be able to offer for all of them or for one of them. The bids will be received in U.S. Dollars and the tender will be concluded in U.S. Dollars. If all of the tender price is paid in advance, a 10% discount will be applied.
