In the 18-page document quoted by Radikal's Murat Yetkin, General Ozkok says that the Turkish army must not regards Kemalism as something represented by badges, statutes, pictures and words and "The important thing that counts in not objects but progressing in this direction and contributing to the prosperity and happiness of the people"
He said "Considering the experience I gained in 1.5 years in office, I have listed the principles which I want to be followed by the army members and my vision that will enlight the future activities of TSK."
Ozkok described his vision as "Upgrade to the highest level, the historical features of TSK, in a vision which constantly renews itself and to create the contemporary armed forces of the 21st Century."
In his document, General Ozkok says that the most important objective of TSK was to regard the rights and honor of the individuals and to provide the superiority of law. "TSK must be rescued from an personnel-intensive system. Fulfillment of the duties untrusted to the TSK is possible on maintaining trained man power at desired features and numbers," he said.
In his document, General Ozkok called on for avoiding luxury by all means including giving gifts and for not allowing the wives of officers to interfere into the military service.
Ozkok also called on for prison sentences to those who leaked fabricated news outside.
