Historical Trial Begins Tomorrow
The overthrown leader of Iraq, Saddam Hussein, is handed to the new Iraqi government. The court which has a historical significance, will start tomorrow and will be broadcas live by the TV channels. U.S. President Bush and British Prime Minister Blair will not be allowed to be called to the court as witnesses.

Gear To Turban From ECHR
The European Court for Human Rights ECHR turned down a petition made against Turkey, finding Turkey right in banning the Islamic Head Gear, the Turban, at university. ECHR ruled that there had been no human rights violation in Turkey's ban on turban.  
One European Worth Four Turks in Purchasing Power
Per capita purchasing power of Turks in one fourth of the European Union countries. Food prices in Turkey meanwhile is high ; 68 % of the European average.  
Professional Women to Seek Equality at Parliament
A commission was set up at Parliament to monitor the compliance of the EU Harmonization Laws to the women-men equality.  
Production Increases by 10.6 %
In the first quarter of the year, industrial production increased by 10.6 % which is attributable to a large extent, to the private sector production.
