The crowd was yelling ; “The envoy of peace is in Imrali” and “We swear to carry out many more sacred meetings in these territories.”
The four were welcomed by a big crowd in Diyarbakir. Police officers followed the 4-hour rally, with ten cameras. Zana fell into tears from time to time, in her Kurdish and Turkish address. She called on PKK-Kongra-Gel to freeze its terror actions for 6 months more.
Leyla Zana said that those who filled the meeting area were the defenders of the 6-year peace. Zana said; “You should demand for rights without hurting anyone. We are not the instigators of violence. My call is to Kongra-Gel. This geography should not be a Palestine, Lebanon or Yugoslavia. I call on the Europeans and Americans not to alleviate vengeance among the peoples.”

Hatip Dicele said at the meeting; “The project have been under way for 5 years to end the clashes. This is implemented by Abdullah Ocalan. The conditions should be created for him to further that. We are ready to have peace with the Turkish supra-identity.”
