Call of Erdogan to World Media to Support EU Bid of Turkey Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan called on the World Association of Newspapers (WAN) to extend support to the membership process of Turkey to the European Union. Inaugurating the 57th general assembly of WAN held in Istanbul, Erdogan said that he found it meaningful that the congress was being held in Istanbul at a time when the world longed much more for peace, compassion, friendship and brothership. |
