Athens Proposes Strategic Partnership to Ankara
Greek Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis proposed strategic partnership to PM Erdogan who is on an official visit to Greece. Erdogan said he found the proposal worth consideration. 
Erdogan: EU Would Consider Turkey's Performance
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan inaugurated the meeting of Forum Istanbul yesterday and said that he believed that the European Union (EU) would give a negotiation date considering Turkey’s performance. However, he said that it was Turkey, that was responsible for not receiving a date for many years. 
Did Cakici Escape with Haluk Kirci?

A strange accident occurred when Alaattin Cakici was traveling from Istanbul to Izmir, to flee to Greek islands, after the court sentenced him to a prison sentence. The accident brought into minds, the Susurluk accident in which state officials, deputies, policemen and illegal fugitives were sharing the same car.

Rapists Were Released by Pardon
Three men who kidnapped a lawyer and raped her several times were captured. These three were found out to have been released previously of prison, under the amnesty declared by the government.
