Greek Cypriot Voted No, Turks Yes
The Greek Cypriots overwhelmingly rejected the Annan Plan and settlement in Cyprus and Turkish Cypriot voiced their support to peace, in the referenda on Saturday.  
Historical Seal
Turkish and Greek Cypriot people will cast a historical vote for the future today. 143 thousand people from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and 479 thousand from the Greek Cypriot section will cast either a Yes or No vote to the Annan Plan. If one of the sides votes a No, the referenda will be deemed invalid.
