Dr. Rogowski who is visiting Turkey as the guest of TUSIAD said in a press conference at the German Embassy that, they had observed the progress recorded by Turkey in fulfilling the Copenhagen criteria. He said that the EU had fears about Turkey’s accession especially because of “Islam, terror and the financial burden to be brought by Turkey to EU.”
He said “We can not overlook these fears. Turkey must be aware of these and should search ways to deal with these” and that “Turkey EU membership will benefit both European and world economy.”
