Double Record: AKP Got the Votes, ISE Boomed

With the victory of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the local elections, Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE) increased up to 20.887 points.

AKP won 57 mayoral posts in the local elections on Sunday. With the announcement of PM Erdogan that AKP will not call an early election and the stabilization policy will be maintained, ISE increased up to 20.887 points at end of the day.

In opening session of ISE, index was 20.167 and with a rise of 720 points, the Istanbul stock market closed at 20.887 points.
