Nine Killed in Earthquake in Erzurum

Nine people were killed in an earthquake in Eastern city Erzurum on Thursday. The quake in the Cat town of Erzurum measured 5.1 on the Richter scale and lasted ten seconds. Eight people including 4 children and 2 women were killed when a house collapsed in the tremor.

Four people entered a shock in down town Erzurum because of the quake, and were hospitalized.

The total number of those wounded in the tremor is 50. All 45 homes in the village were destroyed, of the quake.
