Council of Europe will not Monitor Turkey Any More
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted the report which recommended lifting the monitoring process on Turkey. The report had said that there was no need to monitor Turkey which has made the necessary reforms.

Bomb-raided Ashure in Iraq: 182 Killed
On the tenth day of the Ashure ceremonies by Shiites in Iraq, 182 people were killed and 440 were wounded in simultaneous bomb-raids in Kerbela and Baghdad. The raids are suspected to intend triggering the sectarian Sunni-Alawite conflict in the country.

TT&TIM which emerged from the merger of GSM companies Aycell and Aria, took over a loss of 1.3 quadrillion TL. According to the merger contract, the shareholders are prohibited to transfer over their shares within 3.5 years following the establishment of the company.
