Monitoring the phone conversations of a man, Ismail Islek, who was killed at the beginning of last week in Adana, police detained three people. The suspects confessed that they were ordered by a woman, Emine Kocak, to kill Mehmet Cetin, who was a prospective candidate for the mayor of Adana's Yumurtalik town, from Justice and Development Party AKP .

There are suspicions that Emine Kocak who hired Ismail Islek,24,  killed the young man for failing to kill her rival, the town's current Mayor Mehmet Cetin who was her rival, and had just left the  Nationalist Action Party, to join the AKP in the mayoral competition.
