After their meeting that started at 10 O'clock with U.N. Cyprus Representative Alvaro De Soto, Denktas and Papadopulous met towards the end, Verheugen.
Yesterday, TRNC President Denktas said that Verheugen will not join the talks but, he will take up with the Commissioner the things that should be done EU in the process,
Verheugen said that EU supported both sides for a settlement and the issue was, besides settlement, the accession of the island to EU.
U.N. Representative De Soto described the talks between the leaders as very constructive.
