German Businessman, Reacts At Merkel

German Businessman Markus Felchner criticized the Turkey policy of CDU leader Angela Merkel, known for her policy against Turkey’s membership to EU. In a publicised letter, Felchner wrote; my loyalty and support came to an end. I am not going to vote for CDU until Merkel resigned.

Felchner, talked in the morning program of German television ZDF, saying that he was not going to visit again, the headquarters of CDU , where he had been a member since 18 years old.

EU Commissioner Gunther Verheugen ruled out the proposal made by CDU leader Merkel to Turkey for a special partnership, instead of membership. He said that Turkey was the only candidate country which drew a customs agreement with EU and another kind of partnership was out of the question.
