Erdogan recalled that his party had promised, prior to elections to fight corruption and the relevant ministries were now carrying out serious work to keep that promise.
"The group (Uzans) which me especially mention, tries to oescribe the action ot itself as a political lynch campaign because he is leading a political party. However, neither me nor my friends have any grudge. We are temporary at these positions but are trying to fulfill the duties entrusted to us by these positions," he said.
Erdogan added that the loss of the looted banks was worth 2.5-6 bililon dollars, and this was "An amount very difficult to cope with."
