Denktas: Preparation is necessary for negotiations Turkish Cypriot President Rauf Denktas said that the invitation made by U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan to begin negotiations on February 10 in New York, necessitated preparations. Speaking with a group of journalists in Sheraton Hotel in Ankara, Denktas said "If this is an invitation to talk, it is technically possible. But if they want us to begin negotiations on February 10, then, preparation is necessary." |
