The Higher Education Board (YOK) and rectors solved their mutual problems, which appeared when YOK President Erdogan Tezic submitted the draft YOK motion to the government before academia attained a full consensus on it.

The Inter-University Board (UAK) gathered in the Middle East Technical University on Thursday in an extraordinary session for a situation assessment following the move of Tezic, who joined the meeting as well. The written statement issued after the 3-hour meeting said that there was no difference of opinion between YOK and UAK, which would continue act in cooperation.
