The sentences of two grab-and-run convicts, who mugged the bags of seven women, were approved by the Appeals Court. Each of the convicts was sentenced to 68-year imprisonment.

Murat Yildiz and Kadir Senel, the convicts of the crime, committed in 2001 in Adapazari (Sakarya), were captured after one year. Both of them were sentenced to a prison term, which will be a precedent for similar cases. The attorneys of the suspects objected to the punishment. However the Appeals Court approved the punishment.
