7th Harmonization Package: Passed With MGK Retouch
The 7th Harmonization Package was adopted by Parliament with a retouch on regulations about MGK. According to the package, a deputy prime minister will have the power to coordinate the advisory decisions of the Board.

Ankara State Security Court (DGM) rejected the objection of the lawyers of Abdullah Ocalan, head of terrorist organization PKK, on converting his capital punishment to aggravated lifetime imprisonment.

The “Return-to-Home” Motion was adopted by Parliament with the “intervention” of Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan. The militants of fundamentalist Hizbullah terrorist organization and the convicts of the Sivas incident (which, a reactionary crowd burned 37 intellectuals to death) will benefit from the law as well as PKK-KADEK militants.
