Inaugurating the symposium of the War Academy in Istanbul, Buyukanit said that globalisation had varying definitions but its common definition involved the rapid circulation of information of capital and information. He said that in the era of globalization, the perception of threat differed between the developed and developing countries.

General Buyukanit recalled that Turkey has for a long time waged a war against terror organization PKK, but the so-called friendly countries had supported the terror organization.
