State Minister Ali Babacan will join the Bilderberg meeting, which is held closed to press and which has been dubbed by Islamic circles as the “summit of Zionist powers” for years.

Babacan secretly departed from Turkey to Paris on Thursday night for the meeting that will take place at the Trianon Hotel in Versailles. Meanwhile, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, whose recent statements on Turkey attracted the attentions, will also join the meetings. German Interior Minister Otto Schilly and European Convention President Valery Giscard D’Eastaing, who is known with his opinions against Turkey, will also be present in the meeting.
